About Our Skill Key
The skill levels described are intended as a guideline only. Please consider the individual musical experience and talents of your players when making selections. Each piece in our catalog is rated using the skill levels below and some have been rated as ranging between skill levels (ie. Medium to Advanced Middle School).
Easy Middle School
Selections with this rating are intended for 7th grade level players.
Medium Middle School
Selections with this rating are intended for students in the advanced 7th to 8th grade level.
Advanced Middle School
Selections with this rating are for the 8th - 9th level music students.
Easy High School
Selections with this rating are intended mostly for 9th grade level students.
Medium High School
Selections with this rating are intended for all high school levels.
Advanced High School to Professional
Selections with this rating are intended for upper high school to professional level players.
